Wash and Go Series: My Honey Child O’Honey Curl Mist

In our last Wash and Go Series feature I mentioned that we refreshed D’s CUSH wash and go, on Day 3, with a My Honey Child spray, so I am back to tell you all more about it. We saw how it performed as a refresher, but I wanted to see how it acted alone.

The Product
O’Honey Curl Mist

Ingredients: Spring water, avocado oil, honey, aloe vera leaf juice, coconut oil, olive oil, grape seed extract, fragrance and phenonip (preservative).

Scent:

Texture: liquid

Price: $8 2oz, $16 6oz, $18 8oz

Performance and Results

This product we sprayed on her damp hair that had juts been washed, conditioned and detangled. Here are the results once her hair had dried: wash and go my honey child

My thoughts:
I think this product worked best for us as a refresher over another product. When it was used alone there was a little bit of definition and frizz control but not much, she only wore her hair this way for the day. What do you think?

Remember you can see her natural hair with no product at all here, you can follow all of our posts in the Wash and Go series by going here: http://www.untrainedhairmom.com/tag/wash-and-go-series , also be sure to check our current giveaways (the link is at the top, under “Giveaways”) so you don’t miss any of the product giveaways for this series.

Yes i agree. It looked great over the Cush though. I would probably still try it for a moisturized pony for a day or even with a few fat braids for a braid out to see if it held the frizz better that way. I know its all about wash and go’s but I’m totally into good moisture.

Oh yeah, I still use it to moisturize her styles we’ve been doing.. because your right good moisturizing is most important.

Reminds me of the Bee Mine Juicy Spritz. That’s great for moisturizing second hair, in addition to styling products for us!
