Natural Make Up: Mia Mariu Mineral Cosmetics Review

I used to have problems wearing liquid foundations, inevitably they would all cause break outs. I stopped wearing it for a while and just stuck to mineral powders, until I found Mia Maria Mineral Cosmetics. They are a line natural make up, including liquid foundation. With my dry skin, I really need a liquid foundation, the powders can make my already dry skin even more dry. Needless to say I was so happy to find a liquid foundation with natural ingredients that agreed with my skin. Their Perfecting Finish Mineral Liquid Foundation provides decent coverage and doesn’t dry or break my skin out further.

Eye Make Up

I love neutral shades of brown on my eyes. Their mineral eye shadow goes on smooth and has a nice shimmer. Their Multipurpose Brush No. 15 is allows eye shadow to be evenly applied, creates a natural crease and works well to blend shades.

In the photo below I applied their Loose Mineral Shadow Liner in Caramelo all over using the Multipurpose Eye Shadow Brush No. 15, I added a darker shade of brown in the crease and highlighted the brow bone with a white shimmer. I love the light shimmer of the Caramelo and I found that it was super easy for me to create this look and blend the shades with the eye shadow brush. Usually I have trouble with my eye make up and it never turns out as I envision it, but this brush has helped me out a lot.

Overall I am very pleased with my items from Mia Mariu and would recommend them to anyone looking into mineral cosmetics.

Momma Style: Oasap Fashion

I haven’t really done a Momma Style post in a while… nothing new with the hair other than I am letting it grow, for now. I haven’t added any fun colors to it in a while either I need to get on that. So, right now it’s just a dark brown. But I wanted to do a quick post and show you all my new finds from Oasap. I got this totally cute and casual but fashionable open shoulder top. It runs $30 on their website and comes in 2 different colors. It’s has a short front hem and is longer in the back, love that feature!

Along with the top I got this shoulder bag with studded embellishments. The lining of the bag is really nice and thick, it comes with a hand strap and a shoulder strap, both detachable. I am in love with this bag! They actually have a lot of cute bags that I love see their handbag selection.

KMart’s Big Layaway Giveaway

I don’t know about you all but I rely heavily on layaway services for large birthday and holiday gift items and ever since Wal-Mart discontinued their layaway options I’ve had to miss out on some pretty awesome things. Last year I was saving up to get D bike for her birthday, of course it had to be the perfect size and the right color with her favorite characters. Naturally, when I went to pick it up they were sold out, had they had layaway, there wouldn’t have even been an issue.

I use Wal-Mart as an example because that is the closest large retail store to us. Other stores have some options too and I am finding that K-Mart has the best free layaway services. There isn’t a K-Mart too close to use, but I love that they have an online option, I do most of my shopping online anyways. Here is a list of their services offered and how they compare to other large retail stores:

Of course, I’ve already got some toys and other holiday gifts for the kids in mind and we have our eye this 3D tv for the family gift.

In addition they currently have their Kmart’s Big Layaway Giveaway going on. Every week from now until November 17, 2012 they will be giving away one layaway per store… that is one per store per week!
