Happy Halloween!!! Our Halloween Costumes {Linky} #haircarnival

We dressed up and went Trick or Treating on the the town Saturday evening. We all got in the spirit this year…although I did not have a costume until the last minute, lol. I recycled a couple items from past Halloween Costumes and went as a witch. Dad was Darth Vader and the baby was Yoda. D wore her pink leopard kitty costume.

Quick, Easy, Cute Back to School Hairstyle: August Hair Carnival

easy hairstyle idea

This month a group of hair bloggers and I want to provide our readers with some quick, easy and always adorable hairstyles for school! My style was actually inspired by Facebook photo from one of these bloggers, Keyative Styles.

I did this style the evening before D’s first day of school, after her hair had been washed, thoroughly detangled and moisturized. I used Bee Mine Botanical Moisturizing Shampoo, Bee Mine Avocado Cream Conditioner, and Bee Mine Luscious Moisturizer, I added some Bee Mine Curly Butter and began styling.
-You can see how I simply parted straight across her head starting in front of her ears, put the hair into a ponytail and braided it.
-From there I parted down the middle of her head:
-I then parted diagonally from the center to create 4 triangles and braided each one:

This quick and easy style held up for 2 days. The second day I simply sprayed her hair with our Bee Mine Juicy Spritz and changed out her accessories:
