Here we have my very first cornrow faux hawk, I think it is a great braids style for kids, boys or girls. My braids still aren’t close to being flawless, but hopefully by this time next years I will be able to look back at these posts and see an improvement. For this style I parted down the middle, then began braiding in the front on the left side. This style was a little challenging for me. The braids in the front, that start at the bottom and go straight up, were hard for me. I remember thinking “Oh great, this is going to look horrible ” and at one point wanted to give up, but I kept going and it actually turned out better than I thought it would.
